Intel Essentials Course (March 2009)

The Intel Essentials Course is designed to help classroom teachers develop student-centered learning through technology integration and project-based approaches.

Participants will practice the essentials of effective technology integration in this course as they:

• Learn effective ways to create assessment tools and align unit and lesson plans with state and national standards.
• Enhance student’s higher-order thinking skills with technology tools and resources incorporated into existing curriculum.
• Create a standards-based unit plan, support materials, and implementation strategies to improve and assess students’ 21st century skills.
